Accounting software is great for helping with Making Tax Digital but unfortunately cannot be completely relied upon. Often receipt details like retail names will be uploaded incorrectly but especially VAT rates which can cause you to lose out hundreds of pounds that should have been claimed back. That is where bookkeepers can pay for themselves. NB: For those of you who are over the 50K threshhold, a little reminder that the first MTD deadline is just three days away!
